So the next patch is going to be sort of a whopper. Lots of changes and content coming for those who have been waiting. Right now I am finishing off some of the design aspects and placing the last of the MOBs and placeables in the new regions. To give a hint of some of the new work coming in the next patch, here are some screen shots taken during the development of the regions. Keep in mind that these screenshots are not the final product, just a hint of what they will look like when finished.

Back up and running...

Alrighty folks, the server is back up and running. The current live version is 0.0.2.1 and now requires the Mask of the Betrayer expansion to be installed. Version 0.0.3.0 is back on the dev block and will hopefully be up and live within the next couple of weeks.

For those who are interested, the mapping out of the main quest line has also begun, so you may see some quests added in 0.0.4.0.

I think I am cursed. I finally got the new server up and running and seems stable for a couple of days. Now, once again, a piece of hardware in the new box has decided to go the way of the dodo. So I am left with a partially functioning server, can host the websites but not the module. So, this weekend I will be, once again, giving the server the once over to get the module up and running.

On happier news, 2 of the 5 new areas for the 0.0.3.0 patch are completed and 1 of the two classes, the Warrior, is just about ready for a trail run. That leaves 3 more areas and 1 more class before the patch goes out. Hopefully, the server fix this weekend will the short and sweet and I give these aspects of the patch some much needed attention.

I will update the patch progress and put up some screenies when I get the chance.

Due to server death, the module is currently offline. The server has been repaired as of earlier this week, but I haven't had a chance to transfer the module over. At the moment, it looks like it will be a weekend job and will most likely include the 0.0.3.0 patch. Sorry for the downtime and the inconvienence.

Patch version 0.0.2.0 has been uploaded to the server. You can grab the download at the following location:

Here are the patch notes associated with this update:

General:
- 2 second Global Reuse timer added to spells
- 5 second Global Reuse timer added to Combat Modes
- All spell buff and timer variables should be cleaned up on client reconnect
- Removed several debug messages
- Corpses won't auto fade until the money has been looted
- Skinnable corpse won't auto fade if it hasn't been skinned
- Your current skill rating cannot exceed the max allowed for your level
- New characters should start with 10 in Martial Arts instead of 1

- Darkfang Gnoll Disciple has been added to the Styrith Woods South
- Darkfang Gnoll Reaper has been added to the Styrith Woods South
- Decaying Skeleton has been added to the Styrith Woods South

Trade Skills:

Miner:
- You can now train as a miner, visit Antark in the Styrith Glade
- You can now acquire the tools needed for mining, see Henry behind Antark's in the Styrith Glade
- Various mineral deposits have been placed through out the regions that can be used to collect ore

Herbalist:
- You can now train as a herbalist, visit Juran at the Temple to the Norns in the Styrith Glade
- You can now acquire the tools needed for herb collecting, visit Juran at the Temple to the Norns in the Styrith Glade
- Various plants have been placed through out the regions that can be used to collect herbs

Tanner:
- You can now train as a tanner, visit Hannis near the hunter camp in the Styrith Glade
- You can now acquire the tools needed for skinning, visit Hannis near the hunter camp in the Styrith Glade
- You can now skin certain critters and animals

Here is the third hotfix. This download should, once again, be pointed at your My Documents folder and will overwrite various files. This hotfix includes the following changes:

Classes:

All:
- Health determination has been tweaked again and your Con score will now have a greater impact on the amount of health your character has.

Regions:

Styrith Glade:
- Corrected the door from the Wayfairer Inn to the basement. The door is now located outside of the inn on the right hand side.

Styrith Woods (West):
- Removed the Blackbird and Robin from the region and the potential spawn group. I didn't like the model and felt it didn't add anything to the region.

Wayfairer Basement:
- The door leading out of the basement has been corrected. It is now located on the ceiling and will take you out of the basement when you open it.

Here is the link to the second hotfix for the server. This download should, once again, be pointed at your My Documents folder and will overwrite various files. This hotfix includes the following changes:

Classes:
- All classes should have more hit points available to them. This should help keep you alive during fights.

Regions:
- Corrected a problem with the walkmesh in the Styrith Glade that prevented you from getting into Styrithanor.

As with the prior vim_md.exe file, this one should be pointed to your My Documents directory.

Well the first hotfix is in place. I realized that the classes.2da file allowed the use of the warrior and saydh classes, despite neither of them being playable. I have corrected the 2da on the server and you will find the downloadable version in the follow linked below.

vim_2dafix.exe

As with the prior vim_md.exe file, this one should be pointed to your My Documents directory. For those who created a warrior or saydh class prior to this, my apologies.
